The Orientation Weekend
With the Online MBA program, you will have a close connection to the U from day one. The program begins with a weekend visit to our Miami campus, providing you the opportunity to meet your faculty and classmates, understand the online learning model, and get answers to any questions you might have. If you are not able to attend in person, you will have access to an online student readiness orientation alternative.
The Miami Residency
During the Online MBA program, you will have the opportunity to visit our beautiful campus in Coral Gables and spend a week with your peers and faculty. The Miami Residency is an immersion session during which you will take one full, accelerated course on campus and spend time with faculty, fellow students, and the overall UM community. The residency, while strongly recommended, may be replaced by a similar online class.
